Flat Description:

Chesham Street London Luxury Flat Rental – Lovely, bright and nicely located flat available for short lets in Belgravia with many luxury amenities and details. Situated on a quiet street in Belgravia, practically Knightsbridge, this vacation rental apartment offers a nice mix of modern and traditional decor and a practically perfect location.

On the second floor (3rd story, no lift, but a fairly easy walk up) of a pretty period building, the Chesham Street flat has two en suite bedrooms, modern compact kitchen and a spacious sitting room. Large, comfortable, light and bright with dark wood accent furniture, glass table tops and the golds, greys and safari animal print details that lend the flat a slightly masculine yet very distinguished aesthetic.

Though spacious and comfortable, the second bedroom is smaller, with a small double bed, so this London holiday home is best suited to singles traveling together or a couple and a single, rather than two couples.

Entry & Layout

One enters the front door into a small entry vestibule/hallway under double arched doorways. To the left are two doors, one to the sleek, modern kitchen and the other to the large ensuite master bedroom.

To the right is the spacious and open sitting/dining room, with large  window and door to the smaller second en suite bedroom. There is excellent privacy enjoyed between the two bedrooms, with the entire sitting room separating the two.

Sitting/Dining Room

Entering the sitting room, which has an open plan that includes the dining area, there is a glass topped table seating 4. The table sits under a large gilded mirror, nicely reflecting light from the large window across the room. This spacious room is light, bright and airy.

Nicely appointed with large comfortable sofa and easy chair, as well as two antique throne-style occasional chairs. A carved ornamental wood table holds the flatscreen television. Built-in bookshelves, nice art and decorative lighting complete the setting. Floors are shining wood, with a lovely ornamental rug providing a subtle separation of space between the living and dining spaces in the room.


The compact and well-designed kitchen is immaculate, efficient and has lots of cupboard space. Black granite countertops and white cabinetry create a stark and modern space for casual cooking and food preparation. (The guests staying when we visited had just come back from the flagship Waitrose store down the road, with a darling chocolate-chip cake that looked lovely, and smelled completely amazing – we should have left it in the photo to entice you).

There is a fridge/freezer, 4-top electric range, oven, dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer unit. All are nice models and in top working order. Simple, elegant dishware, service and cutlery fill are located in the many cupboards.


Master Queen en suite bedroom: To the left of the entry and just past the kitchen is the en suite master bedroom.

Very spacious, the room has a Queen bed, lots of built-in closet space, nice side tables and wood dresser. Windows look out to the London streets below.

The ensuite bathroom is modern and square, with a deep square soaking tub and hand-held shower, square basin and square topped toilet. Floors and splash detailing are comprised of large square sand-colored stone tiles.

Double en suite bedroom: The second bedroom is smaller than the master, with a standard double (4 foot, 6 inch) bed tucked into one corner of the room. Built in wardrobe, nice safari prints on the wall, and a light-bearing window with charming views out to mews rooftops and a garden below.

The ensuite shower room is modern and sleek,with glass shower stall, stone floors, toilet and wash basin.


Just a block or two from the flagship Waitrose market (sometimes called the “The Poshest Waitrose in London”), this luxury self-catering flat rental enjoys the best of both Belgravia and Knightsbridge, with excellent proximity also to Chelsea, South Kensington, Victoria, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park… the list goes on.

The nearest underground stop is Sloane Square, approximately a 7-minute stroll. The much more bustling Knightsbridge station is nearly as close, 9 or 10 minutes North. East is Victoria Station (12 – 13 minutes) and to the West is South Kensington (about 18 minutes).

All the shopping to be had in London, and much of it is just a short walk or fast cab ride from this flat. Harrods and Harvey Nichols, each less than a 10 minute casual stroll from the flat.

Excellent restaurants abound, in Knightsbridge (try the Italian place on Beauchamp Place, you will not be sorry!) and Belgravia, reaching past Sloane Square and into Chelsea, on the King’s Road. There are a great number of terrific pubs in Belgravia, some quite famous, actually, in which to enjoy a pint (or two) and a casual meal.


This terrifically kept flat may not suitable for very young children. No pets, and no smoking allowed at this lovely home away from home.

Rental Details:

7-night minimum rental. Nights booked beyond the minimum 7 will be pro-rated per night at the weekly rate.

Included in the rental price is the cost of heat & electricity, use of appliances, weekly linen change if staying longer than 7 nights, departure cleaning, and a Greeter who meet you at the flat to show you around, introduce you to the particulars of the property, the appliances, and answer any questions you may have.

Check-in time is after 12pm, though sometimes earlier arrivals can be arranged.

Check-out time is before 10:30am, though sometimes late check-out may be possible.

Arrivals before 8:30am or after 4:30pm will require transfer service (car hire from the airport or train station) with our London transfer partners. Your driver will have the keys to your flat and will let you in. The Greeter will be by the following morning or by arrangement.

Security Deposit:

The property requires a security/damage deposit between £ 350 – £ 1000 to be held by credit card until after departure. The Greeter who meets you on arrival will return at departure to check you out of the property at the end of your stay.

Accessibility Notice:

The flat is a 3rd floor walk-up, and there is no lift in the building, making it unsuitable for anyone with difficulty managing stairs.
