House Description:

Large London period home for holiday lets, beautifully decorated, full of charming artwork and antique prints.  4-bedroom, 4-story with many beautiful outdoor spaces and views over London, well-situated on a pretty residential block lined with trees, blossoming wisteria and neatly kept gardens in posh Kensington.

The house is 4 stories and makes use of an interior spiral design around the staircase, with small rooms off the half landing levels and main rooms on each full floor. Because of this, guests here can enjoy great privacy while ensconced in their quarters and multi-use rooms, or come together to make use of the large communal and private outdoor spaces.

Garden Level: Large, open Kitchen & Dining Area with great dining table.  Paved garden patio with outdoor seating.
Half Level: Book-filled study overlooking the garden.
Ground Floor: Entry hall. Large double sitting room with two couches, two arm chairs, fireplace, TV, baby Grand piano and occasional chairs. Small private patio.
Half Level: Second study with antique wood furniture and large windows.
Second Story (First Floor): Large Master Bedroom with King Bed. En suite with bathtub and power shower stall.
Half Level: Laundry room, with washer & Dryer.
Third Story (Second Floor): Two bedrooms with King/Twin split beds, one single bedroom & large bathroom.
Fourth Level: Beautiful roof terrace with terrific views of London.

Down the hall past the hallway stairs is a large, modern kitchen with plenty of counter space, an island with double sinks, and a casual low bar with barstools for conversations with the cook or a casual snack.

There is a double oven, electric cook top, dishwasher, microwave and a Fridge/Freezer, as well as plenty of cook and serve ware, and a plethora of terrific cookbooks to peruse in case cooking is on the docket for your London stay.

Master Bedroom: King bedroom (with en suite luxury bath and shower).
Bedrooms 2 and 3: Twin/Double Bedrooms – two bedrooms, each with two twin beds that can push together to make a large double bed.
Bedroom 4: Single twin bedroom.

Bathroom 1: Hallway bath with clawfoot tub and shower over tub.
Bathroom 2: Large master bathroom with deep tub and separate shower stall with power shower.
Half-bath: Guest powder room with toilet and sink.

This four bedroom, two and a half bathroom vacation home is terrific for couples, families or singles traveling together, particularly because of the flexible bed arrangements with the King/Twin option. The Master bedroom is much larger than the other three rooms, you may have to flip a coin with your traveling companions.

Between the landscaped patios, private garden and wonderful rooftop terrace (furnished), there are many options for al fresco dining and relaxation while enjoying good weather. Even after a snow, as you can see, the roof terrace is a gorgeous place to spend a little time admiring the London city views (bring your spot of tea or a coffee with you!).

The nearest underground stop Kensington High Street, just a quick 5-minute stroll away. There are an abundance of excellent restaurants, shops and amenities on the nearby High Street.
