Flat Description:

A charming, bright & light 3-bedroom terraced house in a perfect location off of Kensington High Street not too far from Kensington Church Street and Notting Hill Gate. A cozy sitting room with desk/study space leads into the dining room and smartly compact galley kitchen, giving the main floor a nice open family friendly space for groups to gather and hang out. Three double bedrooms and a bonus upper patio terrace with views out to typical London rooftops and architecture make this an excellent family house, casual, warm, and bright, with three comfortable double bedrooms and two bathrooms, including a luxe master bath and a shared family bathroom conveniently located off the main hallway. Perfectly lovely.

POSITION & LAYOUT The house is nicely positioned on a quiet street off Kensington Church Street, between Kensington High Street and Notting Hill Gate. Terraced on three levels, with the main living areas on the ground floor. There are two bedrooms, including the en suite master on the mid level. The third bedroom is on the upper most floor with a door to the terrace.

SITTING ROOM  Enter a small vestibule into the cozy sitting with emerald green easy chairs and love seat. Decorative fireplace, flat screen television, built in bookcases, and parquet floor. Windows look out onto the quiet street outside. On the other side of the love seat is a small desk and a door to the side yard. The rest of the room is open and uncluttered giving a sense of spaciousness.  A door past the stairs leads into the kitchen and dining area.

DINING AREA  & KITCHEN A large room  with a round wooden table and six chairs, sealed wood floors, buffet table, and a very large clock on the wall. A pretty polished concrete bar top, has inlaid shells that glimmer.  Open shelving under the bar features garden and cook books, and  a small flat screen television.

On the other side of the bar is the galley style kitchen.  Though it lacks counter space the kitchen is smartly and efficiently designed.  Slim dishwasher, small fridge, freezer, microwave, four burner stove top, and small electric oven.  Separate washer and dryer. Double doors lead out to a long slim furnished patio.

BEDROOMS From the sitting room you head up the stairs 10 steps to a landing, from there you can go 4 steps up either left or right.  The right leads to the master bedroom with a queen bed, cream colored carpets, fabric head board, built in wood cabinets, dual closets, and a 40 inch wall mounted flat screen television.  The en suite bathroom attached to the master bedroom is spacious with a larger shower stall, deep soaking tub, toilet, dual sinks, and faux marble tile.

Returning to the landing and continuing down the hall way, the second bedroom is on the left, next to the family bathroom.  This bedroom is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, easy chair, dresser, and has pink and blue floral wall paper. Its many windows look out over a school yard, and let in an abundance of natural light.

Outside the master bedroom 15 steps lead up to the third bedroom. this room also had a double bed, cream carpets, blue and cream colored fleur de lys wall paper, a small desk with a chair, and bright windows. From this bedroom a door leads out onto the terrace.  With a stainless steel and glass railing, and quiet rooftop views.

BATHROOMS The family bathroom on the second level is light blue tiled with a bathtub, shower over tub, toilet, sink, and slim frosted windows for light.  The second bathroom is en suite to the master bedroom.  The en suite bathroom attached to the master bedroom is spacious with a larger shower stall, deep soaking tub, toilet, dual sinks, and faux marble tile.


The nearest underground stop is Notting Hill Gate approximately a 4 to 5-minute walk. The Kensington High Street tube station is nearly as close, 9 or 10 minutes. Incredible location, quiet, yet just off the High Street and the tube. There is a Marks and Spencers right at the end of the street so it was very handy for food. Walk to practically everywhere. If you like to cycle there is a Bixi Bike Rental right outside at the town hall. Close to Hyde Park, Knightsbridge, Tube, Shopping. Really couldn’t be better located for all the shops, coffee shops and restaurants in the area.


No pets, and no smoking allowed at this bright and spacious holiday rental home.

Rental Details:

Minimum 7-night rental, from any arrival day (not limited to Saturdays). Nights booked beyond the minimum 7 will be pro-rated at the weekly rate.

Included in the rental price is the cost of heat & electricity, use of appliances, weekly linen change if staying longer than 7 nights, departure cleaning, and a Greeter who meet you at the flat to show you around, introduce you to the particulars of the property, the appliances, and answer any questions you have.

Check-in after 12pm, though sometimes earlier arrivals can be arranged. Check-out before 10:30am, though sometimes late check-out can be arranged.

Arrivals before 8:30am or after 4:30pm will require transfer service (car hire from the airport or train station) with our London transfer partners. Your driver will have the keys to your flat and will let you in. The Greeter will be by the following morning.

Security Deposit:

The property requires a security/damage deposit between £ 350 – £ 1000 to be held by credit card until after departure. The Greeter who meets you on arrival will return at departure to check you out of the property at the end of your stay.

Accessibility Notice:

This is 3 level terraced house suitable for those who can navigate stairs easily.


Kensington is a grand area, with Kensington Palace, Kensington Royal Gardens, and Hyde Park bordering this beautiful residential area. The gardens and grounds are open to everyone, and terrific places to explore. Holland Park offers golfing, Japanese gardens, and a large outdoor adventure playground area. Kensington High Street is filled with designer storefronts, antique shops, and boutiques. Portobello Road Market in Notting Hill is quite close, as are all the popular (Victoria and Albert, Natural History, Science) and lesser known (London Toy and Model, Branding) museums. Nearby Holland Park and Notting Hill have parks and restaurants and shopping galore. Central London, the theater district, shopping,site-seeing attractions and museums (National Portrait Gallery, The British Museum) are all just a quick tube ride away.
