Wynnstay Gardens, Kensington: A terrific flat, this large, lovely, light and airy 4th story (3rd Floor) flat is fitted with simple, comfortable furnishings in a traditional English style. It has everything you need for a perfect stay in London, from spacious rooms, lots of bathrooms and large airy kitchen/dining room to Cable TV, High Speed Internet and absurdly close proximity to the underground and High Street shops, restaurants and cafes. For day-trippers, anyone brave enough or otherwise required to have a car while in London, there is even private parking available.
The flat is accessed by doors to the mansion block on the ground floor, then up a very small elevator (it will probably take a few trips for a full group of 6 plus luggage, so plan accordingly) and down a long hallway to the entry of the apartment. The entry hall is large and bright, with the kitchen and sitting room accessed through two large doorways on the left, and the bedrooms located around to the right at the end of the hall.
The sitting room is perfectly English traditional, with comfortable sofas, armchairs, fireplace, books, antique table & decorative pieces. There is a television with cable and large bay windows with views out to Kensington.
The eat-in kitchen is quite large, light-filled and comfortable, with fridge/freezer, oven, stovetop, and microwave. The room is cheerful with floral wallpaper, checkered tile floors and large bright windows. The seating area has a wooden table and chairs seating 6.
There is plenty of space for many people to maneuver and prepare food at once. This room in the flat tends to be a natural gathering place for groups on holiday together.
This three-bedroom, three-bathroom flat is a favorite for families and intergenerational groups traveling together.
Master Queen Bedroom: Large, light & airy with Queen bed and en suite bathroom with tub and hand-held shower. Bay windows, dressing table, excellent storage.
Twin Bedroom: Two twin beds, bay window, dressing table, drawers.
Smaller Twin Bedroom: Single twin trundle bed (second twin pulls out from under the other), dressing table, closet, large window.

The nearest underground stop is Kensington High Street, terrifically close at approximately a 3-minute stroll.
This property enjoys quiet being set off the main street behind a front row of mansions, but has views past the front buildings and is just a few steps away from all the great shops, restaurants and cafes of the High Street.
No pets, and no smoking allowed at this lovely London home away from home.
7-night minimum rental, from any available arrival day. Any nights booked beyond the minimum 7 will be pro-rated per night at the weekly rate.
Included in the rental price is the cost of heat & electricity, use of appliances, weekly linen change if staying longer than 7 nights, departure cleaning, and a Greeter who meet you at the flat to show you around, introduce you to the particulars of the property, the appliances, and answer any questions you have.
Check-in after 12pm, though sometimes earlier arrivals can be arranged.
Check-out before 10:30am, though sometimes late check-out can be arranged.
Arrivals before 8:30am or after 4:30pm will require transfer service (car hire from the airport or train station) with our London transfer partners. Your driver will have the keys to your flat and will let you in. The Greeter will be by the following morning or by arrangement.
The property requires a security/damage deposit between £ 350 - £ 1000 to be held by credit card until after departure. The Greeter who meets you on arrival will return at departure to check you out of the property at the end of your stay.
This is a reasonably accessible apartment, especially for London. There is the tiniest half or quarter step curb at the downstairs entry, but otherwise the lift and the single-level interior of the flat make it quite functional and easy for those with limited mobility.
Because of the closeness to the Kensington High Street, the underground tube stop, the shops, cafes and galleries of Kensington, this flat is perfectly suited for touring London. The on-site parking makes it perfect for day trips and countryside visits as well.
Kensington Palace, Kensington Gardens and Holland park, with golf, Japanese gardens, children’s playground and sports activities are all just a few blocks away. Hyde park is a leisurely stroll. The museums and attractions of South Kensington are all within walking distance. The closeness of the tube means that all of London’s best attractions are just a short ride away. All in all, this is a terrifically located London rental.
