Flat Description:

Spacious, lovely and offering an immediate sense of feeling at home, this 1-bedroom holiday flat in the desirable neighborhood of Knightsbridge will have you settling into life as a Londoner in no time. From the carefully chosen decor to the wide rooms, the high ceilings, antiques and sensual fabrics of the furniture and rugs, this flat has an almost Parisian feel to it. The light through the large windows is terrific, with views to the gardens across the street.

Though comfortable and romantic, this would also be an excellent place to host a small dinner party or to invite associates for drinks while in London.

The furnishings in the large, sunny, open living room are luxurious and comfortable, with two overstuffed red and soft floral sofas, glass coffee table, antique wood side tables, chests and bookcases, a gas fireplace and wood flooring.

For the bibliophile, the room is filled with books. There are interesting pieces of art lining the walls for the art lovers. There is a mid-size flat screen television and cable for relaxing after a long day of shopping or sightseeing.

The large eat-in kitchen/dining room is fit with all the modern conveniences, yet offers an old-fashioned homey appeal. Light-filled and airy, it has a picture window overlooking the back of the property.

A large antique wood table in the middle of the large room seats 6 to 8. There is an antique armoire filled with crystal glassware.

The large fridge/freezer sits off behind the table, behind the kitchen door and the white cupboards are filled with lovely, unique dishes and serve ware. There is an oven, hob (stovetop) and a microwave, as well as an electric kettle and all of the implements one needs to cook full meals, or simply enjoy relaxing with take-away (as from Harrods, with its unbelievable food hall just a quick walk away!).

The washer/dryer is in a small cupboard in the kitchen as well.

This one-bedroom, two-bathroom flat is terrific for couples or kindred friends/family members traveling together.

The large queen bedroom features lovely antiques, including a large country armoire, beautiful wood dresser and a wooden chest, as well as big windows with expansive city views and a small television.

The good-sized en-suite bathroom has a tub with a handheld shower and a high window that lets in lots of light.

The hallway that leads to the bedroom has a bathroom with a shower stall and a toilet, so you don’t have to travel through the bedroom to use the facilities.

The nearest underground stop is Knightsbridge, approximately a 4 or 5-minute stroll.

The upscale shopping district offers feasts for your eyes as you come and go from this terrific vacation rental flat. With the food hall at Harrods just a few minutes away, you can feast your belly with a new kind of cuisine for every meal of your stay and still not have tried everything.

No children, no pets, and no smoking allowed at this lovely holiday home away from home.
