Flat Description:

Ropers Orchard flat: The large south-facing windows out the River Thames are what make this 4th story flat special. Recently refurbished and in a contemporary style, the large living and dining area adjacent to the open kitchen are always filled with light from the picture windows.

SITTING ROOM
The sitting room features a wall of windows with a view out to the river Thames. It has a comfortable deep seated low back sofa seats 2-3, next to a large easy chair with a side table and a lamp. The glass coffee table in front of the sofa expands on a pivot. A red chaise lounge, in front of the windows, gives privacy from the street without blocking a view of the river. Richly grained display cabinets, mounted on the wall, houses a collection of colonial art pieces.

The sitting room opens out toward the balcony with two seats and a view of the Battersea Bridge, adjacent to the dining area and open kitchen.

KITCHEN & DINING AREA
The open plan kitchen is spacious and airy, with lots of cabinetry and counter space. It includes an oven, stovetop, large sink, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher.

A wide faux marble counter top separates the kitchen from the dining area.  Two bar stools and shelves are situated under the over hang next to the dining table which seats 5-6 comfortably.

BEDROOMS/BATHROOM
The two bedrooms, situated next to each other, are off the entry hall.

Queen Bedroom: A bedroom with Queen bed, closet, modern woven chair, and small bed side table. The window looks out to he building next door.  It is quiet and private.

Twin Bedroom: A cozy room with twin beds, large built in closet, book shelf with a mirror, drawers, and a chair.

Bathroom: The bathroom, also off the entry hall, has a large kidney shaped bath, with shower over tub.  It has a toilet, sink, long counter, lots of built in storage, while tile floors, and washer / dryer unit. Windows look out to an old beautiful church across the street.

PARKING
On site parking is often available for £100 per week. Please inquire if you’ll require parking during your visit and we will confirm availability for your dates.

Location:

The nearest underground stops are Sloane Square and South Kensington, each a lovely 15 minute walk. The Kings Road  is just a block away, with excellent transportation to the London Underground or to various attractions.

Restrictions:

No pets, and no smoking allowed at this comfortable home away from home.

Rental Details:

Minimum 7-night rental, from any available arrival day (not limited to Saturdays). Any nights booked beyond the minimum 7 will be pro-rated per night at the weekly rate.

Included in the rental price is the cost of heat & electricity, use of appliances, weekly linen change if staying longer than 7 nights, departure cleaning, and a Greeter who meet you at the flat to show you around, introduce you to the particulars of the property, the appliances, and answer any questions you have.

Sometimes early or late check-out can be arranged.

Arrivals before 8:30am or after 4:30pm will require transfer service (car hire from the airport or train station) with our London transfer partners. Your driver will have the keys to your flat and will let you in. The Greeter will be by the following morning.

Security Deposit:

The property requires a security/damage deposit between £ 350 – £ 1000 to be held by credit card until after departure. The Greeter who meets you on arrival will return at departure to check you out of the property at the end of your stay.

Accessibility Notice:

The Ropers Orchard flat enjoys excellent accessibility, with a lift, and a wide hallway from which the bedrooms are reached.

Activities:

Ropers Orchard is situated between Battersea Bridge and Albert Bridge and is in a terrific location for runners, bicyclists, or anyone enjoying outdoor activities. Across the river is Battersea Park, and within a few blocks you’ll find many gardens and green areas, including Chelsea Physic Gardens and Albert Gardens.

For lucky kids traveling to London and enjoying the Chelsea area, Chelsea Skate, Chelsea Adventure Playground and Battersea Park Adventure Playground are all close by. Chelsea is a terrific place from which to explore London. Some of the attractions in reasonable walking distance include the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum, Royal Albert Hall. The theater district, shopping and other museums (National Portrait Gallery, The British Museum) are all just a quick tube ride away.
